Notes

If you didn't know, Vanilla ice cream is reputed to have been brought to America by Thomas Jefferson after a diplomatic visit to France in the late 18th century, and it was Strawberry ice cream that was served at James Madison's inaugural ball in 1813. I'm guessing they decided to mix the strawberries and vanilla ice cream together and magically strawberry ice cream was created.
Actually one of the first ice creams was a combination of three flavors, called Neapolitan  sometimes called Harlequin ice cream, it's a type of ice cream composed of three separate flavors (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry) arranged side by side in the same container.
All I can say is I am so happy that this wonderful delicious treat was discovered way before I was born..........Waaayy  Before I Was Born Haha !
